Welcome to Hushtag. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our iOS application and website (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading the App, registering an account, or accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Service
Hushtag is an AI-powered content creation assistant designed to streamline the digital content pipeline. Features include idea storage, predicted engagement analytics, automated script generators, and conversational chat-tagging interfaces.
2. User Accounts
To access our cloud sync and AI edge functions, you must create a profile. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and represent that all information provided during registration is accurate.
3. Content Ownership and Rights
Your Content
You retain 100% ownership, intellectual property rights, and copyright over all inputs (prompts, raw ideas) you submit and all outputs (generated scripts, titles, descriptions) compiled by the Service. Hushtag claims no ownership or licenses over your content.
AI Model Limitations
Since AI content is generated algorithmically, identical or similar inputs from other users may yield comparable outputs. The Service is not responsible for overlaps in generic AI suggestions.
4. Acceptable Use Guidelines
You agree not to use Hushtag to generate content that:
- Infringes on third-party trademarks, copyrights, or privacy rights.
- Promotes hate speech, violence, harassment, or illegal activities.
- Acts as bulk spam generation or malicious software promotion.
- Attempts to reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt our edge services and Supabase database functions.
5. Disclaimer of AI Outputs
Hushtag utilizes advanced AI models (including on-device intelligence and edge systems) to suggest scripts and metadata. All suggestions are provided "as-is" without warranty. Users are responsible for vetting, reviewing, fact-checking, and formatting scripts before publishing them to platforms like YouTube or Instagram.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hushtag and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service, including content delivery delays, script generation errors, or third-party platform policy enforcement against your account.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
